Nick Bilton & Bari Weiss: What could go wrong?

I want to talk about the absolute shitshow going on over at 60 Minutes involving the show's new executive producer Nick Bilton, a man I had the displeasure of briefly working with myself last year.
But quickly first – it’s not like we didn’t see it coming – but Anna Wilding lost, badly, in her run for Congress (still, over 2000 Americans voted for her).
Wilding has not taken it well. Webworm has seen an email she sent to some advisors, in which she claims she’s no longer democrat: she’s voting “independent or republican”. I’ve copied her email below so you can digest her writing style:
