What a fun article. I really like how he leaned into the “new excitement” around a 14 year old piece and rather than being too cool for it now, is embracing the fun in it. He is a cool dude. I am fascinated by Arise and the horrible things happening there, but I agree this article is a nice rest from the horrors of that church.
I love Louis, there’s a running joke amongst my friends about the fact that I can find a documentary of his for every life situation I find myself in (I’m currently working on a dementia ward and you bet I watched his doc as research!!). Do you think you could write a viral rap song and if so what would it be about
I somehow totally missed this viral phenomenon this week! Can't believe I didn't even see AOC's post. But this was just lovely.
In my extremely experienced, professional opinion as someone who spent one (1) full day on the set of a TV series 15 years ago, I strongly encourage the two of you to partner up on a project. Would be brilliant, and also you could play the twin game and switch places to see if your interview subjects notice.
(And I gotta say, you must have gained some power of divination from your constant contact with Arise, because how else would you know that I needed this today? This week I got myself tangled up in the most bizarre and high profile operation I've ever been stupid enough to get into, and I've been feeling completely detached from reality all day. This little piece brought me back to the ground, which honestly? WW does for me all the time, what with this community of weird little wormy folk. Probably in the top 3 reasons why I'm here, so much appreciated. <3)
On the subject of white guys rapping, you should really do yourself a favour and check out comedian Chris Turner’s YouTube channel, if you haven’t already. His signature freestyle raps are amazing, not only for his astonishingly quick wit, but for how funny and educational they are as well
I reckon an interview with Chris would make for a fun instalment of Webworm in and of itself. I was lucky enough to catch his show at the Edinburgh Fringe a few years back and he’s an amazingly talented guy who absolutely deserves to blow up big as a mainstream comedy star
God I love Louis. So glad to hear he's as lovely as he comes across.
Love your work... please continue
6"2 in a compact. No slack. But luckily the seats go back - perfection. Thanks for the earworm :-)
This was absolutely a giggle. It made my belly wiggle. Thank you for it.
Lubbly jubbly
*edit* damn autocorrupt
While I appreciate all the hard work going into the Arise church expose, I am very grateful for this slice of loveliness with Louis.
This rap has become a fun thing to recite to my dog because she’s always jiggling and wiggling.
I am sure your dog loves you for it, too.
Sometimes she joins in. Either that or she’s asking me to stop? I can’t speak dog so I guess we’ll never know…
Hey DF that guy looks like you mate 🤣
❤️❤️❤️ thankyou for doing something lighthearted and with Louis.
Great, as is that 'twins' photo
Fave recent newsletter, what a treat! Thank you for asking all the important questions
Woohoo! Glad this was a winner. I wanna loop good people like Louis into Webworm whenever I can find a good excuse to!
I haven't read this yet, but I just want to say that this post is my ultimate crossover and I am _here for it_.
Edit: I've read it and it was good.
Hahaha I love that you came back to make this edit. Respect.
Come on David write a rap we know you want to maybe it could be about Arise church blow out all that shite you’ve been exposed to.
There'd be way too much filthy language.
Now there's a very good idea!! Go to, David, please.

He is a cool dude, right? Loved his interview in the chicken shop, too. He is getting better and better with age!

I do not have the skills to write a viral rap song. I wish I did.

Now you have me incredibly intrigued by what you've been up to!

Many thanks - he is news to me. Will listen, once I am done with Kumo 99's excellent new record!
