This is a great piece David. Thank you for sharing this. As a middle class white lady I never feel afraid of the police and am guilty of thinking that they must be decent in NZ. This has really changed my perspective, and it's not ok. I am gutted to hear that they haven't put the word out at all about the armed response teams. Does anyone know if that school will be in hot water with the teaching council over the anti LGBT views posted in the news letter? It seems like *surely* a school shouldn't be allowed to share that?
