Meet Kyron Gosse: Slaps Contractor, Goes Offline
Kyron Gosse
Note: Everlee Wihongi is having part of her case heard on May 21, in Wisconsin (where she'd been living before being kidnapped by ICE). Her family are urging supporters who may be in the area to show up in solidarity: May 21, 1.30pm, at the Fond du Lac courthouse.

Hi,

Self proclaimed “futurist, entrepreneur, investor and adventurer” Kyron Gosse speaks from off camera: “Stop trying to be perfect. Come here.”

Savannah Carter does not “come here”, remaining on the swiveling office chair she’s sitting on.  Instead, Gosse steps into frame and hits her across the face with his open, right palm. It’s a slap. Carter blinks, seemingly shocked. She smiles in the way you smile when you’re trapped in a situation you don’t know how to deal with.

Gosse leaves the frame, tittering and laughing.

“Stop being perfect,” he says as he walks back into frame, placing a hand on her shoulder. “You fucking slapped me,” Carter replies, flinging her arm out, removing his hand from her body.

“Go, get it out, get it out” Gosse replies, seemingly egging her on. “No, no,” she says.

“Just relax,” he says, suddenly pulsing up and down on the spot, like a boxer in the ring. She flinches at this, before awkwardly adjusting her position in her chair. “I can’t believe you just slapped me, that’s on camera,” she says.

“I own the footage,” he says.

The clip ends.

Kyron Gosse is based in Auckland, New Zealand. His website, KyronGosse.com, outlines his philosophy:

“Kyron believes that the convergence of exponential technologies will ultimately result in the possibility of zero cost living - that is where every person can have access to safe shelter, clean drinking water, healthy nutritious food and an abundance of clean electricity, with minimal to zero cost to the user.

As an entrepreneur, Kyron explores how we can create this outcome today by exploring different business models, alternative property developments and building a  community of like-minded thinkers.”

Putting it more simply: Gosse is a wealth coach.

I last remember hearing his name in a story in March: Sausage fest: All-male speaker lineup draws ire from women investors. Gosse was one of the sausages, part of an apparent all-male lineup at an upcoming Property Investors Summit.

Gosse is still listed on the website

Kyron listed as a speaker

Kyron Gosse is also the CEO of Wealth Mentor Limited, which aims to “teach regular people how to create financial freedom and build intergenerational wealth through property investing.”

Savannah Carter started contracting there in 2023, telling Webworm:

“I started as a student in the wealth mentor community. They provide education around property investing and trading, and I joined before Kyron bought the business.

Kyron bought the business six months or so into my joining, and became the CEO. [Then] I started occasionally contracting for them on an ad-hoc basis to share my story and my journey, essentially as a testimonial. So I would speak on stage, or speak at the online workshops.

That progressively became more and more frequent, and then I was invited to join the leadership team. I started running what we call the road show, where a few of us in the leadership team would travel the country and speak at a free event that would lead into a three-day workshop, which would lead into the full mentorship package.

And then that progressed into my becoming the service delivery lead. Basically, I became the face of the community.”

She speaks carefully as she talks to me, holding back emotion.

“I don't believe that he has ever had the intention to physically cause me harm. I don't think that he's ever wanted to hurt me in that physical sense. He didn't do these things out of anger. But that does not make it okay.”

Savannah says there was no apology for the slap, which allegedly occurred in 2024. She stayed on, hoping things would improve. They didn’t.

“There were [other] verbal and emotional assaults. On one occasion he spat a spit wad at me through a straw which hit me in the face.”

Finally, Savannah resigned in February. She tells me she believed in the work Wealth Mentor Limited did, buying a 10% share in the business, which she still holds.

“You know, my shares might be worthless after all of this has come out - but my desire here is to incite change. Because it's not just about me, it's about everybody that has been bullied in the workplace or at school or assaulted in any capacity.”

Two days ago, Savannah Carter posted the video to coincide with Pink Shirt day, an anti-bullying initiative in New Zealand.

The footage is difficult to watch. It’s icky, it’s awkward, it’s a man standing over a woman slapping her once across the face. “I wasn’t planning on going public, but unfortunately the relationship between myself and Wealth Mentor has deteriorated even further”, she wrote in the caption.

Yesterday, she received two emails from Gosse. The first, sent at 3.21pm, urged the “return of company property”. The second arrived at 3.23pm was a cease and desist.

Webworm has both these emails.

It has been brought to our attention that certain video footage recorded on 12 November 2024 [...] and commissioned by Wealth Mentor Limited, may still be in your possession.

The email went on to threaten legal action.

Then came the second email:

The Footage was commissioned and paid for by Wealth Mentor Limited and is company-controlled material. It was provided to you on a strictly limited basis for viewing purposes only. You were not granted any rights to retain, copy, distribute, publish, or otherwise use the Footage.

[...]

Remove and permanently delete all copies of the Footage from your possession, custody, or control.

The second email also went on to threaten legal action.

Webworm has reached out to Gosse for comment.

As I send this newsletter out, he appears to be taking his websites and social media offline. His Facebook is mostly locked:

His YouTube channel is offline:

His Instagram is set to private:

His websites are also going offline: Freedomco.nz returns a 404 Error –

- although the Internet Archive shows what the website used to be, where Gosse called himself “The Freedom Investor”.

His other site, KyronGosse.com, has also dropped offline – although it too is still browsable on the Internet Archive.

On his personal site he boasts about his futurism abilities, and athletic prowess:

“As an endurance athlete, Kyron spends his time running ridiculously stupid distances with the goal of seeing just what his body and mind are capable of achieving when pushed to the absolute limits.”’

I wonder how slapping a contractor fits into his “absolute limits” philosophy. I imagine he’s about to find out.

David.
