Hi,
I wake up with a pit of dread and guilt in my stomach. The secret knowledge I carry deep in my bones: I killed someone.
Rather – we killed someone. Only me, Adam and Jarrod know about it. Most days for the last 15 years I've managed to push the horrific mess to the back of my mind. On some days, I forget it even happened. Time heals all wounds. And I'll go on for stretches of weeks and months where life feels normal.
Then, on mornings like today, it all comes flooding back.
